2017 Regional Competition Season Re-Cap

All we can say is .. WOW. Our 11th season of regional competition was incredible, fun, and full of inspiration. All of the dancers left their hearts on the stage and gave us everything they had. From Florida, Georgia, and Virginia to Pennsylvania, Maine, and our home state of Massachusetts – we’ve visited so many different states and cities and truly enjoyed our time in all of them. Thank you to all of the dancers for your motivation to move. Thank you to all of the studio directors for your hard work and dedication. Thank you to all of the choreographers for your creativity and commitment. Thank you to all of the parents and friends for your continuous support and love. Thank you to all of the Turn It Up staff for ensuring that each event was seamless. We want to celebrate the completion of this regional season with you by sharing photos of your talent. At least the fun isn’t over yet.. next stop – NATIONALS! See you in Long Branch, Ocean City, and Cape Cod!

Season 11 has ARRIVED!

turn it updance challenge

It’s that time of the year again!! Competition season is BACK and we are ecstatic! One week from today we will be kicking off our 11th competition season in Detroit, MI! We just want to say a big thank you to everyone attending our 11th season. This is going to be the best one yet! We also will be in Long Branch NJ, Cape Cod MA, and Ocean City MD for our 2017 Nationals!

As we head into the beginning of our season, we just want to remind you all why you do what you do. You spend hours in the studio choreographing, rehearsing, and hearing “one more time” only to actually do the routine another 3 times. But you do all of this because you LOVE to dance. That feeling of getting on stage, the bright lights in your face, and it’s only you and the music. We are all in love with dancing, and that’s the most important thing that brings us together during competition.

Good luck to everyone this season! We can’t wait to see you! 🙂

Turn It Up Crew Love

We are welcoming February with full and open arms right now! Why? Well, the month of February brings us to the start of our 2017 regional competition season! We cannot wait any longer. Seriously, this is the most wonderful time of the year! To help Crew Photobring us into February, we spent the last weekend in January with our amazing crew training to bring you the best of the best customer service and competitions in the industry. We worked so hard to learn the ins and outs of Turn It Up to make sure that when you attend a competition you have the most fun that you’ve ever had! This is going to be the best sildenafil season yet! We have some returning crew members and some brand new crew members who are eager to be a part of the team and cannot wait to see what is in store! Turn It Up wants to congratulate its new crew members for joining the best team there is, as well as welcome back its previous amazing crew. The crew love is getting stronger and stronger each year, and it makes us all seriously love what we do.

As we head into our 11th season, we want to thank all of you for joining us and we cannot wait to see the amazing talent and choreography you will share with us!

New Scholarship To Be Given At Regionals!

Hey everyone! We have some pretty exciting news to announce!

Turn It Up A Notch

Since so many of you loved the Turn It Up a Notch Program at our conventions in 2016, we have decided to give out a brand new scholarship that provides you with the opportunity to participate in a future Turn It Up A Notch!

Don’t know what Turn It Up A Notch is? Turn It Up A Notch is a program that we offer during our conventions where you get to perform your solo, duo, or trio for some of our master teachers! Some of our previous master teachers have been Thayne Jasperson, Comfort Fedoke, Jessica Richens, and Alex Wong, among many others! After you perform, they will give you verbal critiques ON SITE as well as critiques that they recorded during your performance! This gives your solo, duo, or trio the chance to turn up a notch!

You do not have to use the piece that you performed when you received the Turn It Up A Notch Scholarship. You can bring a new piece of choreography to fine tune and take your routine to the next level before you compete with it! How incredible is it to have immediate critiques from some of the best dancers out there! It is truly a unique opportunity that will help your routine grow and be the best that it can be!

One scholarship will be awarded to the highest scoring solo, duo, or trio at each of our regional competitions!

We are truly excited to be offering this Scholarship to all of you and cannot wait for this upcoming competition season!

Only 35 days until our first regional competition begins! 🙂 See you there!

Happy New Year!

We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2017! We are getting excited to kick off our 11th season this year and hope to see all of you at one of our Regional competitions! For now, here are some throwback pictures to our 10th Anniversary Regional competition season. We know that this year will be just as fantastic!!!!

New in 2017 – Upload your competition music online!

We are excited to annouce that for the 2017 regional competition season, studios will now be able to upload their competition MP3s to their registrations in dance comp genie. Select the “Upload Music” button after completing your registration to download your routine songs right from your computer. If you chose to upload your music online, we still ask that you bring a back up option (CD, iPod, or iPad) to the competition incase there is an issue with the uploaded music.

We can’t wait to see you all at a regional competition in 2017!
